Cutting reality

An image to consider for those who would place faith in the efficacy of knife defences based on certain very grave misconceptions, as explained here by one Ted Truscott. (I have pixelated it for the sake of readers with delicate constitutions. Click on the thumbnail see the original.) No disrespect to any art or system in particular but any notion of closing in and attempting to utilise small joint manipulation against an assailant wielding a bladed weapon—such as can be seen here—must be seriously re-examined.
